FEBRUARY 15TH

FEBRUARY 15TH.

HAPPY 50%-OFF CHOCOLATES DAY <3

"You've got something...in your boots..."

So I go to school in Vancouver, which basically means my shoes are sloshing around in puddles 92.352% of the time (and that statistic has a 97.17348% chance of being pulled out of my arse). Now, the average, sensible person would go and invest in a pair of rainboots to avoid having prune-like toes by the end of the day-- but nooo, I decide I can brave the 5cm deep lakes sans rainboots. And so begins this embarrassing story...

Well, my boots are more of the look-at-me! type, and not so much the I-can-keep-water-out-of-me type. One one fateful, rainy morning, I saw only one solution to my pruney-toes dilemma-- to put plastic bags into my boots so my feet wouldn't get wet :(. Yes, I realize that sounds tres bizzarre, but no one's going to see! And my poor toes will be nice and dry! Surely it's a win-win situation!

But on this morning, like many others, I woke up late and was in a hurry to get to school. I quickly put my socks on, bags on, then boots on, and headed out. Later on that day, I was sitting in the cafeteria during break and noticed this strange boy eyeing me from about a meter away. Usually I'd ignore this because the cafe is always cramped with students and you're bound to meet eyes with a stranger. But this boy was staring so intently! I quickly put my laptop to sleep so I could see my reflection in the screen-- tired face, out-of-control hair..nothing out of the ordinary. WHAT was he looking at?!?!

I raised an eyebrow at him. To which he flushed and responded with, "You've got something...in..your boots..."

Surely enough, the top handles of a clear plastic bag was hanging out at the top of my right boot. "Oh," I muttered stupidly. I quickly pushed the handles into the boot and BOOKED it out of there.

:(
'Til next time,

2011!

Salut!

No, I have not died. I have simply been too busy *coughlazy* to update this blog. But alas, 2011 is here! Looking back, I actually posted my 2010 new years resolution a several posts ago. It reads:

New Years Resolution: To write in this journal everyday. At least one line a day. ( Started on January 10. Haven't skipped a day yet.)

And here is said journal today:

Yes, I took that photo and yes, that is actually my journal. And as for the random stuff that my journal is laying by, well it is my sad sad attempt at being artsy :(. Taking a peek into my journal, I find that I wrote everyday from Jan 10 till mid September with a short 10-day hiatus because I went on a trip and forgot it at home. Holy shizznit! I really wasn’t expecting to be able to commit for so long! Too bad I didn’t end up fulfilling my new years resolution fully *sigh*.

And as for the 20 Day Challenge...

The furthest I got was Day 10 :(. Nonetheless, I shall wear this bracelet until unidentified green material grows from it!!! Or until I can actually not complain for 20 days...whichever comes first. But by the looks of it, the latter seems rather unrealistic.

And now for new New Years Resolutions!

1. I want to blog more. At least once in two weeks. (Which is a lot considering I’ve made maybe 15 posts in the past year!) The post can be an update on life, or just something I write that day.

2. I want to ace my Economics 102 course! (And focus on school more in general)

3. I want to be vegetarian for one month. I like animals but I also really like food...so I want to try going vegetarian but I don’t want to set the bar up really high and then get disappointed.

That’s all for today!

Happy New Years to all 3 of you who have stumbled upon my little corner in the blogging world!!

Until Next Time,

Cya, World!<3
